Talented trainer Rudy Lara Jr. teaches Horsemanship, Cowboy Dressage, and introduction to the Garrocha ~ in Santa Fe

Raise your partnership with your horse to the next level with this second clinic in the Vaquero Horsemanship Series.
Rudy will teach techniques that will improve your horsemanship and help you achieve true softness: softer hands, softer seat, and a softer horse.
Progressing from groundwork to saddle, we will work on lateral movement, fluid patterns of Western Dressage and the basics of traditional Spanish *Garrocha. You’ll come out of this clinic with new skills and a stronger bond with your horse.
This is a clinic like no other, offering two full days of riding and instruction by inspirational trainer Rudy Lara Jr. in a scenic, private setting and includes dinner on Saturday night.

*What is Garrocha? Using a traditional Garrocha pole is a wonderful tool to help build suppleness and power in your horse. It gives both you and your horse a goal or ‘job’ to do. The garrocha pole is used in Spain by the vaqueros to move cattle around rather than roping. Centuries ago the Garrocha was used as a weapon during wars.
