The Rancho Corazon Scholarship and Our Goal

Rancho Corazon is pleased to announce the foundation of the 1st annual Rancho Corazon Sponsored Rider Scholarship for the HIPICO Santa Fe Summer Series, offering one selected Hunter/Jumper Rider the opportunity to receive mentorship, full training, and show experience from our elite staff and trainers. The scholarship will span over two months and will include board, training, show fees and housing.

The scholarship recipient will have the opportunity to bring their own horse or a Rancho Corazon horse will be provided for the duration of the scholarship. The scholarship is open to Juniors, Amateurs and aspiring Professionals wishing to learn and excel within the sport, who have experienced limited accessibility or opportunities to achieve their goals.

Inspired by the “heart of the horse” the purpose of this scholarship is to provide a foundation of horsemanship, mentorship and training to open opportunities and fuel hard-working, passionate and dedicated equestrians towards their goals within the sport. Through goal-oriented training, networking and guided mentorship in all aspects of the business ranging from top performance horse care and management, young horse development, breeding and business processes our hope is to form a solid foundation in the equestrian business, assist in constructing a successful career path and offering connections for graduates of our program to continue their careers within the sport.

The modern equestrian sport can feel exclusive and inaccessible, yet we understand that the true horsewomen/men were developed through a strong foundation in Hard-Work, Dedication, Passion and Horsemanship. Through this scholarship we hope to enrich the equestrian community and provide opportunities for aspiring athletes. Please fill out the application and submit essay responses in a separate document. All applicants must complete our application and send two copies, one by email and one hard copy to be received on April 1st. The winner will be notified no later than May 1st. In your application please include: a video highlighting your riding ability, a riding/competition resume and a letter of reference from a coach, teacher, employer, counselor etc. Thank you for your time and we are excited to meet you!
