Call to Action: Santa Fe County Horseman please attend this meeting: Thursday October 20th, 2016 from 5:30 – 7:00 pm at the Galisteo Community Center, located at 35 Avenida Vieja in the Village of Galisteo, to discuss the Thornton Ranch Open Space Master Plan.
A portion of the trails in the current version of plan will not be multi-use and will be closed to horses. Please show up and make you opinion known. It is not too late to change the plan, as it has not yet been approved by the county commissioners, but we must take a stand now. Keep public land paid for by public funds open to all. Keep the equine heritage of Santa Fe County alive now and for the future.

The Thornton Ranch Open Space Master Plan is a trails master plan to provide public access to the Thornton Ranch Open Space, a 2,440-acre area of public land located northwest of the village of Galisteo along Camino de los Abuelos (CR 42).
Santa Fe County would like to invite you to attend the meeting where more information will be provided on proposed plans. Members of the project team and County staff will be on hand to address your questions and collect your input.
